So... How hard is it to get into the Honors College?

<p>Just out of curiosity. Does anybody know the general stats needed?</p>

<p>As a freshman? I believe the top 100 students are selected out of the applicant pool. As a sophomore? You need a 3.4 and a letter of rec. from a UVM professor.</p>

<p>The honors college students are in the top 5% of the applicant pool. The website says class rank top 6%, SAT 1340+, ACT 30+ - but those numbers are from a few years ago; it's gotten more competitive.</p>
