So, how important are senior year grades?

So basically, at the end of Junior year, I had a solid 3.86 unweighted and 4.3 weighted GPA. Senior year though, first quarter I got 3 B's (rest A's) and second quarter I got just one B(rest A's). On midterms though, I got all A's and B's, but I got 2 D's. Am I screwed? It's just those two that stand out. Please help me out, I'm stressing like crazy. I maybe be blowing this out of proportion though.

Thanks again.

bump, Thanks again.

Anyone have any insight?

I don't think midterm grades are a big deal. Just don't do too much worse than you have previous years.

it depends...did u apl;y early anywhere

If you've been accepted, those grades can be a big thing to worry about.
How did you get two D's on the first semester? Did you totally bomb some tests? Were there any reasons why those two grades dropped so much? (Excuses like "The teacher was a total douche" don't count :P)

They weren't semester grades, they were midterm exam grades. My semester grades were mostly A's with a couple B's. And I don't know what happened bro, I studied my ass off too, I guess things just didnt fall into place.

Again, they're mid-term exam grades that I got the two D's. Am I screwed? My decision comes back in Mid-Feb or early March.

well colleges don't see semester exam grades.....they just see semester grades......or at least thats what i've been told...

bump (10 characters)

wont hurt if you ve been consistent throughout...i also got a D in my midterms (the rest were As) ... they realize that we re only human

Thanks for all the responses so far guys. My number one choice is University of Maryland College Park, does anyone know if they weigh mid years heavily in their decision process?
