So.. how was your AP World History test?

would the trail of tears be considered long-distance?

What was the answer to the roman slavery question?

yay! Praise Allah! I thought I got it wrong.

I had narrowed it down to the new testament and Quran. Luckily we did
an activity which talked about this question.

^I eliminated NT 1st since Catholicism didn’t allow divorce.

Does anyone have the answer to the Roman slavery question?

what were the answer choices again? (Roman Slavery)

Roman slaves COULD be freed by their owners; that was the only answer I remotely knew anything about.

Did the choice say that they could NOT? I think I remember eliminating that.

it was pathetically easy

What was the answer to number 2? (most civs before 100CE had all these except…) I said writing/lit but I’m completely unsure. Tale of Genji (first novel) wasn’t written until later so that’s why I said that.

monotheism

Monotheism. The only prominent monotheistic religions was Judaism.

I remembered the Qur’an one from my prep book. I didn’t really remember it until the test.

ahhhh you just got me really scared. my whole change was that forced migrations stopped from africa, after slave trade + slavery was abolished. i could see it working either way. I think as long as youidentify some sort of change and some sort of continuity, it should be fine.

^ slave trade continued illegally till the 1900, so i put it as a continuity.

^What about Christianity?

would I get a 0 on the compare and contrast because I didnt talk about the “rise” of mongols and Aztecs? My categories were Conquest (Aztecs conquested for slaves, Mongols for land) Adaptation (Mongols adapted to wherever they conquered, Aztecs didnt) and Leadership (they both weren’t hereditary). Although they kind of have to do with the rise, I didn’t explicitly say “rise” in any part of my essay.

If your talking about Christianity in regards to the question about monotheism, it wasn’t legalized until 313 with Constantine. So I don’t think it really applies.

^Good point!

^^^The “rise” of empires usually involves conquest of territory, so you should be fine.

I mentioned indentured servitude as a continuity.
