So hows it goin'?

I need to run…but its 103 with a heat index of 110. . …haha, looks like I’m running very late tonight, after the baseball game.

So how is everyone’s summer going?

That's crazy, its about the same here in Phoenix. Running at night or at 5am is the only way to get it done. I take it that you and USMMA09 both play baseball.

Softball....but I'm crazy about the cardinals. Ya I've been trying to get up to run, but I've been trying to push as much as fun as possible into this month. Staying out to late...you know the story, I've been trying to get going more often and run and I'll be fine, but I feel really lazy right now.

partying or "hardcore chilling" and running just don't go to well together for some reason...

hahaha i know what you mean

You guys don't know lazy! Now Jamz is lazy. He sleeps till two/three in the afternoon and stays up all night. I haven't seen him run in days. He's soaking up this last bit of freedom. He has four days left before we stick him in the car. The computer was down for five days and all of his time went into fixing it. Yeah for Linux! You guys need to pal up with him when you've got computer problems. He's a Geek God. I thought I'd have to buy a new system. He met seven of the eight guys going from our state at a BBQ on sunday and talked to a midshipman who was a Plebe last year. He thought it was great. Hope you guys are having fun. Kiss your Moms & Dads alot! They are feeling stressed but are probably hiding it well.

$24.00 - 14 pairs of white socks
$30.00 - 14 pairs of white underwear
$100.00 - new calculator
Going to USMMA - PRICELESS!
Hey! I love it that I'm the only Mom on here that gets to nag at you guys! Are you packing yet? Jamz threw one more thing in his bag. Its our state flag. The Parents Assoc. gave it to him to hang on his wall or door. Just thought you'd like to know that bit of info in case you want to take your flag. Jamz has been grinning for three whole days because its just dawned on him that he doesn't have to mow the yard any more... NUTS! I gotta find another kid to torment now..... Everyone be safe in your travels and I wish you the best of luck. I hope to get to meet some of you some day. You're the best of the best and I'm honored you let me hang out here with you! (Without giving me too much crap) Remember to take one day at a time and keep your head up. I heard that they aren't really allowed to kill you and throw the body in the Hudson. We leave in the morning so fair winds to you all! Eat and sleep while you can!

Two very important things one may want to keep in mind during indoc that i read at leatherneck.com

The drill instructors can't kill you AND they can't stop time.

do we need to purchase a ti-86 or will they be available at the academy (for purchase)?

I think it says in the Logging In that it can be purchased at the academy at the ships store. I'm just bring mine from high school.

I'm off to New York......see you all on Friday.
