and now I have to write a thank you note. (It was the Cornell Book Award)
Any ideas of what to write.
I have
"Dear Cornell Club of Greater Hartford,
I appreciate that you have bestowed this award upon me. It was a privilege to receive this honor from you."
It seems repetitive.

Why are you even writing a thank you note? Doesn’t your high school choose the recipient?

When my school gave out the award they also gave me an envelope with a letter in it that says where to send the thank you note.

Be Genuine. Be Sincere. Show Gratitude. These should lead you to the perfect words to fill the thank you card.

are you really even supposed to send a thank you note?

It’s always courteous to send a thank you note, even if they weren’t involved in selecting you.

I would’ve sent a thank you note to Princeton for giving me their book award, but they didn’t even have the decency to show up to my high school and give it to me. they shipped it a week late… then, i e-mailed a person at princeton and they didn’t even e-mail me back. I know where I’m not applying next year…

Thank you for the award. Keem 'em coming. You know where to reach me. Peace Out!
