so i have a major situation

Basically, I went into my precalc final with something close to a 78%. I'm pretty sure I miserably failed my final. The final is worth 25%. It is quite possible that my high C will drop to either a C- or maybe even into the D range.

Am I pretty much guaranteed that UCSC will rescind me? Would they even if the grade was a C-? If I lose my C, I'd retake the course this summer. Anyone have any knowledge of how the UCs deal with this situation? Is it just grounds for rescinding or you think they let me do it over this summer? Precalc is not a requirement for transfer, already took stats last semester. But it is a prereq for my major, which is why I'd do it over this summer so it wouldn't impact me in the fall.

UCSC is more lenient with their conditions of admission than Cal or UCLA, so I'd say there's a good chance they'll let you make it up during the summer

i thought if your CCC is on the +/- system, there's no such thing as C-'s

How about contacting your admissions officer after you get your grade? I think even with a C- you should be fine, but better being safe than sorry...

you are going to the land of fruit and nuts-you could pull a triple homicide and still not get rescinded there..

I freakin hope not. Or else my life will be literally turned upside down.
