So I really WANT to be done with standardized testing...

but my dad keeps bugging me about raising my SAT CR score by a few points. I've taken it twice so far, and my superscore is 2260 (690 CR, 770 M, 800 W). I'm applying to Columbia, Wharton, Cornell, and a few other schools in the top 20. Should I listen to my dad and take it again in the fall? Or accept my score, which I was pretty happy with... and just go ahead and apply with it?

Also, my ACT is a 33, 35 Superscored (35E, 36M, 35R, 34S) and I got 780 USH and 790 Math II on subject tests.

it’s funny because if CR was a 700 instead of 690, my dad probably wouldn’t be freaking out over this…

I would definitely retake, as a 2260 isn’t very good if you have a 690 CR. Shoo

I actually do think a 700+ will be perceived significantly differently than 690, even if it really shouldn’t. It’s the same reason stuff is sold for $x.99

Unless you’re really against it, retake I guess.

Honestly, no because your ACT is very good. You got 35 on the reading portion too. Don’t worry about it.
