I'm going to be a sophomore this fall. (At Penn). This summer I'm working a job cause I really need the money (and paid internships were a little hard to get for me). But next summer I want one of those legit internships where you sit at a desk 9-5 M-F and learn a lot and get paid. I'm in the college and I think I want to do business. I'll probably take finance in the spring, but beyond that I won't have any Wharton classes.

So what should I be focusing on this year if that's my goal? My resume's not too beefed up, and there's not much I can do to make it a whole lot better before next summer. But should I go around campus in the fall and try to find a work study type job that's kinda legit? Research with a professor? (How does that work anyway?) Basically I don't even know what I want to do with my life, I don't have any real skills (especially for anything business-related things), but I really want to get that legit internship where I can learn skills and have a really really meaningful summer.

THat was a really random thread.
