So I'm a stupid senior, should I take the sat subjects in January?

I can't get over a 750 on ANY TEST. (not even history where i scored a 5 on the AP). Yeah so they are basically my downfall when it comes to college apps. I'm applying to places like Stanford, MIT, Princeton, Duke, UPenn, etc.

Should i re-take (for like the 4th time....) the SAT subject tests?

Sincerely, ISuckAtLife

What were your SAT scores?

Anything with 650+ indicates that you have intelligence at least. What’s the complain here, unless you had a 600- on your exams?

My friend has a 4.3 GPA and did ok on the verbal. You see, not all smart people are superior at everything.

^ Okay first of all don’t worry about it. SAT’s are only one part of the admssions process. Secondly, if you got like around 700-740 that’s actually really great.

overachiever =P

I’m talking about Sat subjects

Sorry for being harsh, but I seriously doubt you’ll get the scores you want if you have tried three times before and had failed. Taking a subject test four times is just too much.

If I were you, I’d just try to improve the other things I could improve.

I’m in a similar situation. I only took SAT II’s once and got a 750, a 700, and (ew) a 620.
I feel like I should try again to get one more above 700, but I’m only applying to one school (Harvard) that actually requires 3 subject tests.

Agreed.

However, you’ve had at least 4 threads recently about how your life sucks. Maybe your SAT II scores would improve if you spent more time studying instead of complaining on CC?

That’s why I quit Facebook; and IMHO, posting College Confidential is better than posting on Facebook.
