take SAT again?

okay so i was wondering whether i should take the SAT again or just fully concentrate on the subject tests, none of which i have taken yet despite the fact that I will be a senior this fall. i have only taken the SAT once this past MAy and got a 2000 exact (620 CR, 680 M, 700 WR 10 essay). However, the thing is I have improved A LOT from my first PSAT score and so wanted to know if i could still improve. my soph psat was 167 and my junior year psat was 179. So seeing as how I have improved a total of 330 points, should i still try?

If any of yall say yes, then can yall direct me to some studying resources cuz i have already used the blue book, pr's 11 practice tests, and even barrons big book. I was thinking of using the online collegeboard thing but havent heard anything bout it soo jus give me some opinions ppl.

btw, Im applying to all my colleges reg decision and so the last time ill be able to take tests is by NOv. For subject tests, im planning on either taking all three (math 1, math 2, lit) in oct or nov (depending on wat yall say) or just holding one off till nov and taking two this oct.

just to let yall know, I will be applying through questbridge and am a minority and plan on applying to top schools like harvard, yale, and columbia

You definitely need to retake them again then. I don’t know anything else about your app, but I do know SAT’s are important…

Try the ACT; maybe you’ll do better.

Concentrate on the SAT I’s, they are 10X more important in admissions that the SAT II’s.

Collegeboard’s online tests - assuming that that’s the online thing you were talking about - are quite good.

I’m not sure if you have the time to focus on the SAT I, the SAT II’s and senior year. Retake if you think you can improve significantly without spreading yourself too thin.

I got a rather bad Math score - 700 - but decided not to retake and to study for Math IIC instead. However, I got good scores in CR and Writing.
