so i'm wondering what college i can get into

I'm really anxious to find out what college I can attend. I've made some mistakes in the past concerning school, but now am on the right track taking AP and honors courses. But here's what scares me, my previous attendance to school, only recieving a standard diploma, and my SAT's are about 1000-1100. But I've been involved in several extracuricular activities and am trying a lot harder than I was in my junior year.

Some personal experience feedback would be awesome thanks :]

A public state school. There are loads of 'em. Find one you like.

I really want to go to Old Dominion in Norfolk Va

Wells. Let's look it up.

About two thirds admission rate...

25th percentile for SAT scores is 960. 75th percentile is 1140.

Upward swing in GPA? Top half of your class? You're probably going to be accepted if this is the case. But I'm only going by 2006 U.S. News numbers.

I know for sure my GPA is going up from what it was originially. I couldn't tell you if I'm in the top half of my class, it would be out of 400 students, so I'd be pretty comfortable saying that I am in the top 1/2. I just am really pessimistic at this point, I would hate the thought of all my friends going to college without me.

i don't want to assume.. but your SAT is off a 1600 scale right? (i personally know kids taking advance classes who scored in a 1100.

If you're shooting for State Schools, try working on your GPA and SAT. Those universities care more about the numbers.

Standard diploma's and a 1000 don't usually look that great.

I think you'll get into Old Dominion if you have a decent GPA.

like a 3.0 ?

yeah probably...70% acceptance rate is really high, and your SAT scores are right in the middle.

basically its like on the edge though

You'll most likely get into ODU. I don't see any reason why you wouldn't.
