<p>a 28 ACT is great for plenty of good colleges</p>
<p>check out collegeboard.com for the colleges you want to apply to. youll see that a 28 is usually on the lower end of the middle 50% for most of the top schools. but i think if you want a really solid shot you should have at least a 30. i actually got a 28 too and im trying to push it to a 32 hopefully by december.</p>

<p>um yeah definitely not guaranteed getting into an ivy with a 31, and certainly not with a 28. fizban 119... don't know where you got that idea. I've got a 32 and i'm worried about getting into cornell, the least selective ivy. Not even a 36 can guaruntee acceptance. Nothing can. But a 28? It's a good score but you gotta get it in the thirties to have a decent shot at the ivies, stanford, ect.. and other things are equally important.</p>
