Currently going into my senior year. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada but plan to apply to UT. I have a 3.9 unweighted GPA and a 4.6 weighted. However, my school is very competitive and we have about 10 valedictorians, so I am only ranked 46 out 324 students. I am aware UT cares about rank and does not care about the GPA, so am I at a complete disadvantage admission wise? I take the most rigorous course work I can.

Not necessarily. Rigor of your schedule is heavily weighted just like rank. Secondly test scores, essays and EC’s are important too. Have good test scores and essays and you have a chance. But you realize that OOS students are a small part of UT admits.
