When writing college essays, has anyone ever considered using CollegeConfidential as a topic, or more specific the HSL portion? If so, how would you go about using it?

haha, some college applications ask to describe what websites, books, and magazines you like.

^Please provide those colleges so I can write them down for further encounters. XD

i think stanford’s supplement essay question ask something like that

This would have been a great essay topic, like no lie. Except so many people use CC that yuo’d really have to personalize it so that an admissions officer wouldn’t read it and be like, “Umm, ***. What a loser.” haha

It might be counterintuitive. I’ve heard admissions officers say stuff like, “Okay, so anything you hear on CollegeConfidential is …FALSE.”

You could always write about Tsen though.

Somehow, the MIT head admission officer is a member of CC.

Write about HSL… it’s like a separate sphere from the CC-world.

^^And also the Dean of UVA or something. A few college reps are part of the CC community.

I feel like this would be a topic of splendor, seeing as how I manage to post so frequently about absolute garbage-worthy topics, unlike this one of course ^_^. xD.
