I’ve always wanted to be a surgeon… maybe a physical therapist :)

I’ve always wanted to be either a pharmacist, physical therapist, biomedical engineer, anesthesiologist, family doctor, speech pathologist, or a forensic toxicologist.

I’m very indecisive.

Age 6- Firefighter
Age 12- Cellist
Now- Doctor/Scientific Research of some kind

lol :D

Piano professor! Or something to do in music or teaching.

I want to be a lawyer

@LAMuniv That’s actually a large reason I’m not interested in tech schools and whatnot. If I change my mind, I want to be able to stay in the same school (although some of the schools I want to apply to are stronger in my major than others, and that’s partially why I chose them).

I want to be a chemical engineer, but I might got to medical school afterwards to be an anesthesiologist. I’m not sure, but I get excited at the idea of both. My worry is that I won’t be able to handle engineering (although for some reason I think I can handle medical school?) because of my math strength. I’m good at math, I get A’s in math honors classes, but I’m not THAT good. I still score lower in math on standardized exams than reading, although my math scores are still higher than average. But my mom had done electrical engineering and got almost a perfect GPA, until she switched to accounting and finance. My step dad and uncle are doctors and did well in medical school, so I guess the self doubt is stupid.

I’ve noticed that there’s been a rise in people interested in STEM majors, which is pretty awesome, but I wonder how many found interest in them just because of the money or pressure to do something “practical”. That may also be because CC has a lot of international people from India and China, where STEM is basically life.

I want to become a self-made entrepreneur that travels the world with my engineering innovations.

a princess

I wanted to be a theoretical physicist for the longest time (throughout middle and high school until last year). I wanted to study inflationary cosmology in particular. Last year, though, after studying calculus from a rigorous analysis-style textbook, I realized that I would far prefer pure mathematics. Now I would like to be a professional research mathematician in some field of analysis, or if not that, at least a lecturer at the university level.

When I was really young, around kindergarten I wanted to be a firefighter, then in elementary school I wanted to be a fashion designer. Later in middle school I decided on physical therapy and they got me really interested in science/medicine. Now I want to either do some type of medical research or be a physician in either emergency medicine or pathology. My backup plan if I don’t get into medical school is some type of forensics/detective work.

Computer scientist or research scientist.

I’d like to be a psychopharmacologist.

My lifelong dream is to become a pomegranate.
Short of that, however, I’ll probably wind up a librarian, a craftrepreneur, or a video game translator.

I wanted to become a fashion designer or a psychologist or secret service agent when I was younger. Due to monetary pressure from society, I think I may be a computer engineer/programmer in the end.

I’m very torn between ideas. I would love to be a music therapist and be able to study how music affects the brain, and use that research to treat patients using music.

On the other hand, I would love to be a theoretical physicist when graduate school is all said and done. I want to research more about the universe and all that makes it up.

A surgeon, a doctor, a pathologist, a research scientist or a journalist.

I’m getting really interested in biology currently and wondering whether I should become a biologist (I absolutely love facts and analysis), maybe focusing on something like bioethics (many issues in bioethics seem to pervade the world).

I really wanna be a neurologist or neurosurgeon.

Neurosurgeon

I want to have some kind of finance profession, and eventually start my own hedge fund.
