<p>I would assume you call the schools. Promptly is their vague way of telling you as close to now as possible. :D</p>

<p>You can just send an email to the undergrad admissions offices. If you've started an application but haven't finished it, you don't need to notify them, but it's probably be better if you did just so they can close your file and don't spend time sending out reminders to complete the app.</p>

<p>ya when i got in ED i waited a while with no adverse effects...so i wouldnt worry about it...I sent out letters to all my other schools telling them that i had gotten in early decision to another university and was withdrawing my application...i don't think Penn really monitors this that much...they have other things to worry about...but congrats!</p>
