So you guys think it could be any day now?

No, I don't think you guys will hear till the 20th at the earliest.

My guess would be that letters will start funneling out around the 22nd or 23rd..the east coast will hear as soon as the 25th and most of the country around the 27th or 28th..

abbym4190, I hope you have a GREAT birthday and can celebrate your acceptances. My son's B day is around the same time. Actually, so is mine. So, I am praying we do not have a lot to be sad about.

I'd just like to say that I love Barry Goldwater, and that I lost a trivia question about who ran for President in 1964 the other day. So... yeah, go libertarianism!

I applied to Georgetown SFS on a kind of whim when I thought I'd really be into international relations, and now I'm not sure how I'd feel if I got in, but I think my chances are really low since my school doesn't offer AP langauges and I only got a 590 on my French SAT II (which is LOADS better than everyone else at my school).

I ramble!

Man...every day seems to go by slower and slower.

Quark, good to hear there are more Goldwater supporters who are going to college! Young Goldwater children seem to be few and far between.

Anyway, Im getting kind of nervous. I really wish Georgetown would give a date, time, and online way of checking applications. Otherwise, Im going to get home after school any day now, open the mailbox, see a letter from "Georgetown Admissions Office," and just collapse on the spot. Damn, I just hope its not on the 20th, as I turn 18 and a rejection would just ruin everything. Then again, its only college! God damn...

hey, my 18th birthday is also on the 20th!!!!

Hate to rain on your parade, but I got my EA letter way after I was expecting it, like 12/17. I was the last early applicant at my school to hear. With the increase in apps, it might be more reasonable to expect them later.

I got my EA letter exactly on the 15th..since 4/1 is a Sunday we might hear on 4/2 (on the east coast) at the latest but i would expect to hear beforehand...especially if you live within 4 hours of D.C.

gahh, i'm so jealous of all you east-coast living people. with my luck, i'll probably get my (rejection) letter some time next fall haha :]

haha that sums this up pretty well.... I'll die waiting and end up getting rejected!!!
