Yea, but you wouldn't know it unless you clicked for information about the college while filling out their supplemental form on commonapp and scrolled down in a window that appeared to have nothing more than the college's address and phone number in it. Can they really hold us accountable for this, when the only notice they give is in a scroll down window that you may or may not ever actually read? Heck, I wasn't positive I was EDing until Monday...will they hold me accountable for not submitting the supplement two weeks early? It indicates nowhere on their website/application calendar that you're supposed to. :(

Don't worry about it. Any ED app that arrives by Nov. 15th or shortly thereafter will certainly be considered!

I called to ask them about it because I was concerned, too. Apparently all they really wanted were the first two pages of the Supplement (the easy stuff) and that was only wanted so that a file could be started.

Hurrah, I can't say that the common app info didn't scare me, although I feel it's outdated; they still say that Swat requires the SAT and 3 SAT 2s, obviously not adjusting for the new SAT.

Anyways, the deadline approaches, essays are being finalized...only 35 days until decision! Do they notify online? Or solely by mail?

I heard that the admissions office pretty low-tech and that they use snail mail for decisions, but I'm not totally sure if that's right. Holy crap, I'm so scared about mid-December. I just read over my Why Swat essay and it sounded even crazier than remembered. Oh well.

From what I hear, crazy is good. Since you don't sound like the thousands of other people applying, then you will stand out and leave a favorable impression of the adcom.
