2130 SAT (740 M, 710 CR, 680 W)
3.96 unweighted GPA
4.92 weighted GPA (Honors is worth 5.0, AP/IB worth 6)
6 APs last year, 5 APs this year and 2 IB classes this year

BUT I don’t have any good extracurriculars.
I was a Junior Marshall last year.

I also worked at my Grandfather’s business 20 hours a week in 10th and 11th grade.

That’s it.

My recommendations should be great since my teachers love me and they have been writing recommendations for years. My essay should also be very good. But I have no ECs.

What type of colleges can I get into?

I’m a North Carolina resident and plan on applying to NC State and UNC early action. I also want to apply early decision to either Davidson, Duke, or Wake Forest to at least have a chance to get into one of them.

Do I have any chance to get into Davidson, Duke, or Wake Forest if I do early decision?
What about UNC?
What sort of colleges can I expect to get in to?
Can any of you recommend any colleges that don’t care much about ECs? (I’m open to schools in VA, SC, and TN)

for the schools you listed above, i think you still have a good shot at getting in. i’ve seen kids with similar stats get into good colleges.

With no EC’s Duke is pretty much out of reach.

What about Wake Forest or Davidson if I do early decision?

Have your counselor explain in her rec why you are light on ecs, i.e.; family obligations, need for job etc.
Wake is s possibility

Be sure you list the job on your app so colleges can see how you have spent your time.
