<p>I don't go to Wake so I can't answer all of your questions but I have a few friends who go there and they're all liberal and all absolutely love it. I don't think your political opinions will keep you from enjoying the school</p>

<p>Wake Forest really isn't a southern school. Sure, it has a southern flair, but the largest religious denomination is Catholic and there are lots of folks from NJ/NY. Personally I am from NJ, am a registered democrat, and am not in a frat or a sorority. I think that for the most part if you can't fit in at Wake Forest, the problem is with the person, not with WFU.</p>
<p>I'm Asian and Im a freshman in wake this year.... i like the school however most of my friends are asians...wake is deff sports crazy and lottts of parties, but i think it is fun. if you dont like parties, you can always hangout with your non party friends and watch movies.. girls always dress up for football games and i heard this is a Southern thing lol if you have any questions about wake, feel free to msg me :)</p>
