i ordered rush delivery on nov. 2nd when my SATII scores came out....and since my early app was due nov. 1st it was already a little late. AND IT DIDNT GET SENT UNTIL NOV. 13th!!! ***ffff? it was sent over a week late. did this happen to anyone else?

"Your failure to plan does not constitute my emergency."

That's why they give you the opportunity to order the scores when you take the test.

BigIs- what is wrong with you?

does anyone else think what he/she just said is completely bullsht and rude?

nothing is wrong with me...i couldnt have possibly sent my scores before they were available (ON NOV 2nd!) even if i "ordered the scores" when i took the test they wouldnt have been sent until after nov. 2nd

that sucks...I have to rush my november scores...they BETTER send them November 30th, or I'll be screwed

BigIs...don't be a jerk.

The colleges receive all the scores destined for them in a bulk electronic format. I don't know what they're doing these days. In the old days they'd send them a computer tape. Any scores ordered at the time of taking the exam would be sent to the colleges at about the same time or a little before they were posted on the web. November 2nd is the date they're release to the web, not the date they're sent to the colleges.

In fact, if you look on the CB website, it says:

Note: Scores from the October and November SAT administrations will be sent by two-day priority delivery to colleges for Early Decision/Early Action program consideration. Most colleges accept October and November scores for EA/ED programs. Please check with specific colleges to understand when SAT scores need to be received to meet application deadlines.

So, ordering you scores at exam time would have got them to your ED college as soon as possible.

That being said, if the CB did not honor your rush request of two business days, you're entitled to your money back.

I may be rude, but pointing out that depending on other people to get it right after you fail to plan properly is not the way to go through life is definitely not BS.

I suppose you're right...

Do you think he'll be able to get his money back?

emilyequalsfun: How do you know the day they sent your scores?

BigIS-if collegeboard says that scores will be sent within 2 days i am pretty sure i was planning correctly by getting them sent the day they came out. theres no way college board sends the scores before they come out online.

jyan-i looked on my college board account and it said the date my score report was "processed" was nov. 13th, although i ordered rush reporting on nov. 2nd (i have confirmation of that)

i better get my money back
stupid college board

yeah...that really sucks...if that happens to me I'll be screwed because the decision will be made before they receive my new scores
