<p>I am a Finalist this year, but I haven't logged onto my thing in months...and as a result I've totally forgotten what site to go to in order to make my school choice thing that notifies them and gets me scholarships.</p>

<p>I’d recommend faxing it over mailing so that you can get a confirmation receipt.</p>
<p>I may be wrong, but wasn’t there a site where you could do all that online? I remember signing on to that site the first time I was notified of my status as a Finalist, but now I can’t recall what it was…</p>
<p>You’re probably thinking about the site where you could notify two colleges when you first qualified for National Merit.</p>
<p>To choose a first-choice, you have to either mail or fax the card.</p>

<p>Call the National Merit Foundation to asnwer your specific situation @ (847) 866-5100 … they have always been very helpful when I have called</p>

<p>May 31st is the last day but the only reason why one should wait that long is if you are waiting for wait list results etc. There are other threads here that talk about how to make the choice and when. </p>
<p>At this stage, you need to really do your reserach and get on the ball. Many schools need you to designate them by a given day (earlier than May 31st) and you may miss being considered. So hurry.</p>
