So who else cited the Muhammad South Park episode

I used political cartoonists, The Onion, and Family Guy. I’m worried my Family guy example will be weak just cause, well, it’s Family Guy. Plus I didn’t pick the best episode to write about.

I wrote about Dave Chapelle and Glenn Beck lol.

I wrote about SNL, David Letterman, and local comedians in general

Lol my original thought was to use it, but then I decided otherwise. Is it ok if you presented hypothetical examples instead of actual ones?

Oh yay, I did The Onion, too. Along with Seinfeld and Portnoy’s Complaint. I felt the need to have something literary in there even though it didn’t fit as well as the others, haha.

I wrote about Jerry Falwell’s first time. Google it if you don’t know what I am talking about.

I went out on a limb and disagreed with the quote, citing that “serious” writers and artists are vital to society for the same reasons as humorists, and compared DuChamp with Picasso as well as randomly throwing in references to George Lopez and Dave Chappelle (wow, everyone seems to have used him) and Conan O’Brien. Then I put in some novels that were serious/shocking that I enjoyed. The way I see it, I’m either going to get an 8 for being unique or a 4 for going off-topic.

I cited Dave Chapelle, The Office, Tina Fey, and then the South park episode and that British cartoonist who had depicted Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in a cartoon a while ago…I’m Muslim so I established my ethos and used that haha…the whole exam was wayyy easier than I expected.

Haha the South Park episode actually crossed my mind, but for whatever reason I didn’t write about it. I used the Dane Cook/Vanessa Hudgens incident though.

I won’t post what I cited until Friday morning.

I used Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert, late night shows (Leno, Letterman, O’Brien) and that humor serves as a form of escapism for people.

jeez youre like my twin.

I did!!!
Lol I can’t believe someone else actually used it. I thought I was going to die using it. W/e though, MC was sooo easy, along with other two essays, so I got some points to spare.
Still lol, great example.

^ And I used Steven Colbert and John Daily too =)…oops. Just realized his name is John Stewart. Oh well, hope it doesn’t matter.

you’ll probably get screwed for it. its the daily show with JON stewart.

and its STEPHEN colbert ;)

Lmao, I’m with simpsonman. Those are terrible mistakes.

Man, I’ve made some stupid mistakes…
Like for Euro, I said John Calvin made a pefect Calvinist society in Geneva, Sweden…

“jeez youre like my twin.”

Scary because I happen to be a twin, haha simpsonman. Hopefully those examples were good enough for a least a decent score (5/6).

stop. posting. in. this. thread. I’ve notified the admins and requested it be deleted. let it die.

stop posting in this thread.

EDIT: deleted : / alksdjg;aoivbm

I used Thomas Nast, Dave chapelle, and Russell Peters.

Like 10 people from my class used south park.
