<p>hey anyone aware of WPI's ranking in Engg as a research school or an undergraduate school.</p>

<p>kaitlyn yes he's excited. We were just there about a month ago for a tour and interview. Oh, and the tour guide and info session leaders were both girls so they ARE there-- and very nice too- we both liked them. One was a third generation legacy and very energetic and down to earth. </p>

<p>Have you been there? Campus is really nice. Students were busy working on projects - very practical and real-world oriented. Professor came over and talked with my son for a few minutes. </p>

<p>It's a school that's more impressive in 'real life' than on paper.</p>

<p>I'm glad to hear the enthusiasm. I have visited the school, however, i wasnt able to get an actual tour. Instead, my dad and i conducted an improv tour with maps and whatnot. I enjoyed the campus, and am also very excited about feb 19. Im going to have to acclimate to the daunting male to female ratio...coming from an all girls high school, but im up for it. :)</p>

<p>I applied as a bio major, but I don't think I'm going. WPI has a good bio program, but RPI seems to be better in terms of research facilities and classes available.</p>
