social life at Susquehanna

I visited Susquehanna and liked the campus, but a friend told me that a friend of his is transferring because it is boring and there is nothing to do. What do students do for a social life?

Sorry to see no replies, as I have the same question. You might try the Susquehanna-specific forum, although there may not be much activity until Fall

I have a brother that attends SU, and he loves it. He does mention that there is not many things to do in the surrounding town, but there are a lot of off campus parties. Also, the school has a calender near the dining area that has tons and tons of school activities like movies that will be playing, and events sponsored at Tracks (on-campus club). He has met a lot of great friends that definitely do not leave on the weekends.
Hope this helps!

thanks! Has he said anything about which dorm is best and why?

His freshman year he was in Smith Hall, it is by far the best on campus. Most freshman are placed in Smith. I know that before he decided where he wanted to live SU sent him a pamphlet and it gave information on every dorm. It told you things like if it was an active dorm, if it was a mellow dorm that was quiet and so on. Smith is said to be “the most active dorm” on campus.

Thanks very much.
