Your social life is what you make of it. I get very irritated when people who stay in their rooms all day complain that Davis is boring. We have a club or frat for everyone, there are house parties, there are smaller clubs (we are a town after all). If you're out of the dorms you have sacramento and vacaville to head to. If you are not lazy, you should not be bored

^ well said

yeah i figured as much. what's sacramento like?

and btw, i know absolutely nothing about nor cal - i live in san diego - so that explains the questions haha.

elliee haha what is SD like? is the weather nice? the people?? im plannin on ucsd...

UC DAVIS is allright. i hear its super hot in the summer, but then again you wont be there in the summer only the school year...

i live about 2 hours away from sacramento. i visit every once in awhile... the place is kinda quiet and deserted at certain areas... and on the way to davis the roads are a bit rural.. smells a bit like cow but once you get there i suppose you get use to it... lots of trees...

my friend goes there and there are occasional parties here and there around on and off campus

san diego is beautiful, i really do love it here. good luck at ucsd - a lot of people from san diego don't want to go there because of it's "unwelcoming" atmosphere, but keep in mind it's what you make it. there's not a ton of parties going on there all the time, but if you drive into san diego city (over by san diego state) you're sure to find one. the people in san diego are nice, the beaches are great, the weather is amazing.

i've been accepted to ucsd and ucsb as well, i'm trying to choose between the three. haha.

Sacramento's what you would expect... there is the downtown area with clubs and bars and restaurants, you have the areas dedicated to the state, you have a few malls,...

yeah. are most of the parties in davis hosted by frats?

Its what you make out of Davis. Davis is actually kind of boring when I did summer session there but there a lot of things to do. Parties are not only hosted by frats, there are many house parties around. What I like about Davis is the fact that its close to the bay area. If you’re bored on the weekend, take a side trip to the bay with friends.

No, not just frats hold parties. In fact I’d probably say most parties are not held by frats, but their parties are probably on a larger scale than most

all you need to know is its a craazzzzzy craazzzzy parrtttyyyy parrttyyyy atmosphere!!!

really, crazy party atmosphere?? def didn’t get that vibe when i went there lol

elliee if your hot you’ll get invited to parties haha

hahahaha good to know.
