Social life on and off campus!!!!

<p>I know a lot about the academics and education at UCI, but one thing I have not been able to get a straight answer about is the social life. I hear the social life is low so students go elsewhere and I also heard many students leave on the weekends. I am interested to find out: how big/wild the party scene is, how active the campus is on weekends and what's the best way to get the most out of a social life at UCI</p>

<p>parties happen, you just have to know where to find them. uci is really a commuter school so campus is pretty dead by mid to late afternoon on friday. hardly anybody is on campus on weekends except norcal people. i would suggest getting involved in some clubs that you’re interested in and get to meet people that way, and definitely put in effort to bond with your hall mates</p>
