Social Life

What is Case social life like? I have read some bad things, and as someone who likes to drink and party on the weekends I want to know if this is a possibility at Case...I am visiting soon but I'd like some other opinions on this issue and the social life in general.

I went to a program called Experience Case where I had an opportunity to stay with a student host. According to my hosts (who were self-proclaimed party animals) and from my observation, its all about who you find, and who you hang around with. There are only a few guys and girls who can party on the same level as habitual party animals. Majority of the student body were geeks who you always see in the front of your school cafeteria. I talked to buncho guys/girls at one of the parties I went to, and they all told me they do "this kind of stuff" once or twice a semester. Honestly, the party sucked too. Yeeaahhh... so if you're looking forward to a party-craze and a hangover for your college life, OSU or elsewhere may be more appropriate for you.

Ouch...so you would say the schools reputation of lame or no parties is apt?

unfortunately, as many case students admitted themselves, yes.

Eww...not exactly what I had hoped to hear but thanks...anyone else with another take?

I dunno about the whole once or twice a semester thing...
Me and my friends might be in the minority at case, but we're definitely supporting the economy of St. Louis once or twice a week if you get the idea...

there are plenty of opportunities to party, most of the heavily publicized parties at frats need to be dry, because of University rules, of course if you happen to know people plenty of unpublicized parties go on at frats/apartments all around campus

if you email me
I will be more honest with questions
