What’s it like for kids who don’t want to party/go out to clubs every weekend? Can anyone give a first hand account? I realize that I’m going to find drinking at every school and its a part of college life everywhere, but I’m just trying to gather an idea of what weekends are like at Brown for those who choose not to follow that path.

Friday evening: Shakespeare on the Green, watching my friends perform an amazing interpretation of Hamlet until 11 PM.
Friday night: Playing risk until 4 AM
Saturday day: starting work
Saturday evening: spoken word
Saturday night: playing video games in the lounge, or studying, depending on how social I feel.

Not an actual weekend (I do party every other to every third week), but an example of what I might do. There always seems to be more stuff to do on the weekends, especially stuff my friends are involved in, then I’m able to watch/do. If you don’t party, you’ll have more time to enjoy the ridiculous amount of stuff there is to do. But parties are worth it too.
