<p>Would getting a social science degree (international studies to be more specific) at Virginia Tech be a good idea?</p>
<p>I say “NO” at any school, frankly. I wonder if even Masters in International studies are worth it in the job market today. </p>

<p>Can’t provide much info, though I know that IS has a lot of overlap with the Political Science department at Tech. You can check koo fers .com (no spaces) to see reviews about IS courses and professors. It’s a relatively small major as far as I know, so you might not be able to find much help here, sorry :(</p>
