Society of Women Engineers: April 17-18, 2009

Any other prospies going?

I'm soooo excited, especially since it'll on a Friday at Cornell the day before my 18th birthday. =]

I’m going! I’m so excited xD

Hi!

I’m one of the student organizers of the prospective candidates weekend event, i’m looking forward to meeting all of you. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Ohhh, I have a question! I noticed on the itinerary that Friday evening’s plans are pretty open. What kind of options will we have?

Friday night you guys will be with your hosts. It will be up to them what to do with you guys. We provide them with some suggestions and there is a bowling social with desserts and a chance to get to hang out with other SWE girls and prospective students.

ah! if you got into cornell ED…do you have to be invited to attend this? or can we just sign up somewhere and just go?

Am i supposed to get an invitation for this event?

I am not sure about the SWE event, but I do know that for DHW, even if you weren’t invited, if you contact the office that is setting the event up, you can try to ask them to give you a spot.

You should try doing that if you really want to come visit :)

If you were an (Female Engineering) ED student, you could contact the admissions office about getting on the waitlist, the spaces go first to students who are RD, but if we have room we’d love to have you!
