SWE Weekend Invitation/Likely Letter

Hey guys! I just received a likely letter from Cornell and they are inviting me to the Society of Women Engineers weekend!
Does anyone know much about this or anything? Do we have to pay to attend the weekend, because for the Diversity weekend I heard that they don't have to.

Thanks! :D

yeah, I got the same thing! it had four different colored papers in it?

I got the same thing also!!! I’m not sure but do you know whether you need to bring your parents or not?

I think that because you stay in dorms, if your parents came they would just have to get a hotel room. I don’t think they pay for it; at least there is no mention of it on the forms.

got it! thank you! :D

My daughter got the multi-color likely letter, too. So nice to receive it a little early – with MIT, Caltech, UCLA, UCSD posting their admittances last weekend.

There is info about a small SWE scholarship in the letter, but check the SWE web-site for an application for more scholarships for future women Engineers.

My daughter got the multi-color likely letter dated 03-10-10 as well.

I am on a school trip now, but my forms are at home and I haven’t registered yet. Do you register onine, by phone, or by mail?

i believe you register online and send a form through the mail.

You can also fax in the parental release/medical form.
