Soggy towels

When I went to orientation the only place I could hang my soggy bath towel was in a small closet, which would probably lead to some nasty stuff. Where do you all air your towels?

In my dorms, we had private bathrooms to 4 people each- no hall bathrooms.

But when I did summer programs that had us stay in dorms, we’d often hang our towels out on the horizontal posts of the beds (like, stretched out, so it could dry out).

Either that, or you could use the stick on hooks you find in target. I’ve never had a problem removing those from dorm walls at the end of the year.

I’ve also left my towel in the closet. Nothing bad happens- seriously. Besides, your bath towels shouldn’t wind up “soggy” from just drying you off once…

We had towel bars in my dorm…so on there! But on the bed is a good place as well.

you should have a towel bar or some other hanging thingy, use that.

Got a thing that attached to the back of the door and hung it over there.

Get a command hook, stick it to the wall, and hang your towel there.

However, I dried my laundry last year in a spare closet and it worked out fine. It just wouldn’t have if I’d needed to put dry clothes in there, too.

There were towel bars in our dorm.

A similar solution would be to buy curtain rods (ikea has those metal black ones for dirt cheap. Like $2 you cab buy) and install them on the wall where you want a towel bar and use the curtain rod as your drying rack.

If you buy those open-looped curtain hangers for the rod, it can also double as a great necklace and bracelet rack for girls.
