Hmm, well you could hang it in your room. I've never seen people hang their clothes to dry, so I don't know if there would be other options regarding that.

Go to the dry cleaners.

where do u dry ur towel after a shower?

yeah, if I've got clothes that can't be put in the dryer, I just hang them in my closet. ...they dry, in a day or two...

...for the towel...there's a hanging rod outside the closet sliding door (at least in the unit dorms) and most people hang their towels from there

get a foldable clothes rack, IKEA has them. The wooden ones are good because wood absorbs water. Avoid putting all your dark clothes in the dryer, they fade prematurely.

any other options for drying clothes?
and, do most people leave their dorm rooms unlocked when they leave?

Well, it's different perhaps in Clark Kerr/Bowles/Stern/Foothill, but in the units, the doors automatically lock when they close...which provides for lots of fun locked-out situations.

If you're leaving, not locking your room (if you had a choice) is just stupid. Why even risk having your laptop stolen? Some people do leave their door open if they're just going to the bathroom or something or visiting a friend down the hall, but even then, I don't know how comfortable I would be (unless my roommate was in the room still)
