Some advice for a potential transfer?

Hey, I currently go to a huge state school (Mizzou) and want out! My two best friends from high school went to Bowdoin, and I could use some advice on transferring there…Whats the school like? very challenging classes? how about the student body? workaholics or liad back? what about the social life? a lot of parties??? what about the town???
i want to transfer because of the student body here, but my biggest qualm about bowdoin is the location…im also considering colby (I know, I know…)…any help would be much appreciated…

Repeat,

The level of challenge you'll encounter in classes really depends on which classes you take. My course load this term was pretty light, but you can definitely challenge yourself more if you want. All of my profs have been superb, but I have also picked them carefully. The student body is undoubtedly more laid back than workoholic, although you'll find much variation, as at any college. The college provides shuttle services to Freeport and Portland on the weekends and there are also many parties and things to do on campus. Despite this, Bowdoin does have a little bit of a middle-of-nowhere feel, but no more than any other LAC. (In fact, it's location is probably better than most, given its proximity to Freeport and Portland). For me, the quality of the academics outweighs the locational disadvantage, but it really depends on what is most important to you. So far, I'm really enjoying Bowdoin. Hope this helps.
