Some advice?

Got a 27 on the February ACT with no preparation whatsoever. I plan to take the ACT again some time before September so I think I have plenty of time to study. Anybody have advice to somehow raise my score to six points—if that's a reasonable jump?

the scores that are easiest to improve are the mid 20 range. request a copy of your latest ACT test. Once you have your latest score and a copy of the test in hand, contact a private “one on one” tutor. the tutor my son used cost $430. he saw my son 3 hours one evening and 3 hours the next day. make the appointment 2 or 3 weeks before the next test date.the tutor will pin point the areas to concentrate your studies.
once you take the test again, repeat the above process as many times as time and money will allow.

^Don’t do what he did. IMHO, it’s a waste of money. I went from getting 28’s on practice tests to a 32 on the real test. Just buy some test prep books and read them and practice with them.

Take a practice test in the red book and see what you’re lacking in. Then study your mistakes before taking more practice tests (so you don’t waste them).

Thanks for the advice. So just basically practice, remedy errors, and then practice again?
