<p>After much debate, it turns out i'm goin to UT!</p>
<p>Unfortunately, I wasn't expecting to go so i haven't signed up for housing and now I'm not sure what to do. Since i thik it's too late for public, i think i need to sign up for private...i think i'm goin castilian, but does anyone know whether they would be full by now? Also, is castilian a good dorm; I'm looking for a place that's not too preppy and allows you to be social.</p>
<p>Last year I filled out a housing application really late passed may 1. They'll give you supplemental housing, where u live with 4 people in a converted room. I'd say that private would be the best option at this point</p>

<p>Acee==We just got a call from the Castilian asking d if she was still interested in a room there last week. But she's gonna stay in the honors dorm.</p>
<p>She visited the Castillian, took a tour, and thought it was really nice in a good location. She said she heard it has a "party" reputation but neither of us can vouch for that firsthand.</p>
<p>Hmm a question, you have a housing contract for UT. Does this contract allow you to move inbetween campus dorms if you wish to switch roomates and such?</p>
<p>on a somewhat unrelated topic, dont they have statues of confederate leaders on campus</p>
<p>Well, I know that the school fees include "statue fees" for Barbara Jordan and someone else... Cesar Chavez???</p>
<p>catillian is social....there are quiet floors that you can sign up for...but it's very social...lots of fraternity/sorority people, lots of non-greeks as well... you'll enjoy it.</p>

<p>i'm prolly gonna sign up for University Towers tomorrow night (my friend reserved me a spot), after my step-brother convinced me into goin :)</p>
