<p>I really hope though that college gets better. I just like nice people. I don’t get why people act nice to you and mean on the inside, which eventually bubbles up and ruins a person’s day.</p>
<p>OP, that incident sounds like something that would happen among my school, as well.</p>
<p>I go to high school with some of the most awful, despicable, lamentable people that I have ever had the misfortune of coming across in my life thus far.</p>
<p>Don’t get me wrong, though. I have also met some of the most amazing, wonderful, beautiful people on the inside and outside as well.</p>
<p>I don’t understand why people feel the necessity to be so fake in high school. If someone dislikes me I’d rather they show it than pretend to be nice to me.</p>
<p>In short, I hate high school, and no, I am not a misanthrope. I don’t fit in with the general student population here and I really truly am so grateful to be graduating.</p>
