Well I want to transfer to UT Austin for their film school, but I'd like to also try their Computer Science classes. An idea I thought of was applying this year for next fall (I'll have 42 credits by the end of this school year) in the Undergraduate school as my second choice if I cannot get into RTF and try a couple classes to see what I like best, is this a good idea?

Also is it easier to get into the Undergraduate - Undecided school? How about internal transfer to RTF?

I think it might be easier to just apply to College of Comm. as you will probably get into their RTF program with a decent GPA (maybe 3.6+). Will you be a Sophomore at UT if you get in, if so then you might want to try and internal transfer to UT although I might add it may be in your best interest to stay where you’re at if the RTF program is good.

i’ve asked this question hundreds of times but no one replies…is it harder to get in Natural Sciences - Undecided than choosing a major such as physics etc?

It almost doesn’t really matter what major you transfer in as because it’s such a easy process to change it. This past spring I entered in as a nutrition major, but then I changed my mind and changed my major the first week of class to education. So in other words, you might just apply for whatever the easier school to get into is. I know they have that kind of stats listed on the UT site (acceptance rate for schools).
