"Andrew, could you please ask your counselor to send me another 7th semester transcript? Just the Fall senior grades. Your report suffered a small accident.

Thanks, the address is below."

hahaha!!!! id cry but its just too funny!

PS - 1200 posts

PSS - I got rejected Early Decision II from Vanderbilt, which means I can go to a service academy now :-P

Good news: they WANT the grades because they care and are considering you. At least you are in REAL consideration.
Bad news: The hasslefactor (another test to get in...) AND the grades better be good!
Wishing you all the best and a good relationship with your counselor!

If not coffee, then the copier or Raider, Ranger or Gen. Scott ate it. Things happen. ;)
At least they called - which should be viewed extremely favorably!

taffy, i'm in the same situation...i had to re-send some stuff too recently...hopefully it means that we are being seriously looked at. Does anyone know what day the selection board meets on(i believe it is every tuesday, but i'm not sure), and if you get selected, how long is it until you hear? By the way, taffy, do you have an LOA?

I have still not heard anything from west point regarding my admissions status. This leads me to believe that the person with the principle nomination recieved their appointment, but has not sent in their acceptance of it... this makes me think that the person is unsure about going to west point and is waiting to hear from other colleges before making a decision. And even better, if that person sent in their decline of the appointment, then the academy would probably start looking down the list at other applicants in my district. If west point recieved my 7th semester report card over a month ago, why would they pull it out and spill coffee on it now? maybe its just wishful thinking, but this seems pretty good :)
