What about Ursinius, Alleghenny, American and James Madison? Some may be slight reaches but they are all good solid schools. Your Sat score is very good and you may have a good chance with these schools. Good luck!

poi, I'm actually applying to Ursinus considering I recieved a free application via email. I'll look deeper into them and the other schools you mentioned. If anyone else has other options, please let me know.

Skate, I have heard a lot of positives about Ursinus and Allegheny. Also, one of my relatives lives near Ursinus and says that it is a very well respected school.

College of New Jersey and Drew are both excellent schools that have comparatively less strict admission standards. I don't think you should rule out Northeastern if you're interested in their programs, you seem like a solid candidate for them.

Villanova is definitely a reach. Penn State could be a huge reach too. GPA is 2/3 of the admissions criteria....and they want around a 3.7.

I'd trade them for Ursinus, UMass, Allegheny, or Delaware. They seem like better fits. Northeastern could be a possibility though - it's not as selective as Villanova, and more forgiving than PSU.

ewww NJIT lol jk. um...Udel might be a choice, but honestly EVERYONE applies there from jersey I don't understand it. My friend from park ridge told me like so many kids out of her school are like OMGG I MUST GO THERE same with my school so many kids love it there.

URichmond might be a choice..

I'm pretty sure you'd getinto the the state schools with no real problem..since your M+CR is really good

Your list sounds like a typical New Jersey kid's list, haha. Not that that's a bad thing, though.

I would suggest Drew University in Madison. They're a great liberal arts college that is often overlooked. NJIT seems kind of... I don't know.. random? My school had our graduation ceremony at Essex County College, and our Midnight Madness (Project Graduation?) at Rutgers. I don't know why I just told you that, but my point would be that Rutgers is a better option.

If you don't mind straying from New Jersey a little, I'd also suggest Allegheny, Susquehanna, Muhlenberg, and Dickinson. Perhaps even Connecticut College.

Richmond might be a reach, but I'd hate to discourage you from applying to a great school. I absolutely loved the campus and met some really laid-back people there. I remember them having a gorgeous lake smack in the middle of the site with a lovely view from the cafeteria. They have an amphitheater too, I believe.
