My UMich app is due tomorrow. Everything is set, except for my Common App rec. I turned in my materials to my teacher around 2/3 of the way through September. I checked in with her throughout October and then twice this week to make sure that it was done. However, it still has not been uploaded onto CA, and my Navaiance Account shows that it’s not completed. Can I still apply EA? None of this is my fault. I highly doubt it’s my teacher’s fault too, but I sent her a bunch of emails. If this was a technological thing, does that render my app useless?
It doesn’t render your app useless. Adcoms know that teachers flake sometimes. Have her (re-)submit the letter ASAP and you should be fine.

Have your teacher submit it first thing Monday. If you feel like it would help, call or email the admissions office yourself and calmly explain what happened. That’s the best anyone here can tell you. But I very much doubt your app will be thrown out over it.
I think that means all of your materials must be received by that date. Schools are sometimes late with other docs.
@NavalTradition @phoenixmomof2 Actually I think my teacher uploaded it on Naviance, and it’s uploaded onto CA, it’s just not showing (server problems). Is that ok?
If it’s still not showing on Monday I would ask her to resubmit and/or email it. But I think you will be fine regardless, even if she did just flake.
@NavalTradition I emailed her and she said she completed, submitted, and uploaded to CA (auto through Naviance). According to my college counselor, it sometimes takes a few days for the status to update. So if it’s there, but not showing, it’s completely fine right?
