SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME: I have sent my scores and I am short on time!

Okay, So I just got my SAT 2 scores back a few days ago. They are as follows:

Chemistry 790
Math 2 770
Lit 550-what the HELL?

The main reason I did so bad was because the first passage was too intense and it sort of psyched me out for the rest of the test (it was about a derelict man killing a little girl to steal her necklace). It was weird after that and I left like 1/3 of the answers blank.

I should have cancelled my scores then, I wanted to apply to Princeton and Harvard and I needed 3. I have given up on those two schools now though. I am not taking any subject tests again for my own reasons.

I kind of ruined myself by taking Lit, it was kind of a dumb idea to begin with. I didn't take chinese cause an 800 is like the 51 percentile because most people who take it are fluent, I haven't taken history for three years and I didn't want to double up on the same subjects.

This could actually crush my chances at some other schools. WHAT THE HELL DO I DO NOW? All of the other schools I am applying to require two or so. If only I could just get rid of the LIT score, but I have to send all three anywhere and I want to send the CHEM and MATH2.

Should I send a letter, call them or will they just look at the highest ones? I really need help because the scores arrive in about 4 days or so.

PLEASE HELP ME!!

Colleges that require two SAT II scores use the highest two if you submit more. You are therefore worrying about nothing.

If you still want to take another and still try for Harvard or Princeton, which require three SAT IIs, take Chinese if you can score high. Percentile ranking for SAT IIs is not the issue, score is.

Drusba is absolutely right. For example, Dartmouth would look at your two highest as it is stated on their home page. Go ahead and take chinese because percentiles won’t really matther as long you can get over a 700.

Yeah, I was kind of freaking out about this quite a bit. Does the 550 just get let go then? or do they just scribble it down somewhere .
