Songs which make you cry.

^^^ Listen to Eminem’s When I’m Gone it’s so sad; it’s almost like mockingbird where he talks about his wife and kids.

^Yeah I’m a big Eminem fan so I’ve listened to tons of his songs, “When I’m Gone” is definitely a sad one too. Have you listened to “Hailie’s song”? That’s a great one too.

Because of you-Kelly Clarkson
Boston- Augustana

^I loveee Augustana!

^^^Hailie’s Song would be good if it wasn’t so obscene. :/

Hurt by Jhonny Cash, at the very least will providr extreme chills

one wish-ray j

I second Hurt. Actually IDK if it ever made me cry but it’s for sure really sad…

Sometimes Bixby Canyon Bridge by Death Cab and also some Smiths songs. Well, IDK if I’ve ever cried at these either, but they def make me sad…

I know I was sobbing at many parts of the Pianist, esp. when he played that piece at the end when he was alone in the house with the German soldier… But that was sort of more the movie/music combination than the song alone.

Iron & Wine, anyone?
Flightless Bird, American Mouth
Such Great Heights
The Trapeze Swinger

Gary Jules, Mad World- one of the saddest songs I have ever heard.

I heard that Christmas Shoes song today, and it gets me every single year. It’s like, you finish being with your family during Thanksgiving break, people are putting up lights, and Christmas songs are playing. Then out of nowhere this song comes up and it’s the saddest thing ever.

While these songs don’t make me cry, I get damn depressed listening to them…
Vanilla Twilight–Owl City (memories with that song)
Ocean. Sand. Trees.–Epik High (piano is powerful stuff)

Anything by Glee. So many good songs that I liked, immortalized in Kidz Bop All Growed-Up…

Tonight–FM Static. Def had memories with that song

@sevenstars, agreed on Iron & Wine. Except Upward Over the Mountain is the song that always gets me, but I love the Trapeze Swinger too.

Like A G6…
Brings me to tears every time.

^lmao

Dust in the Wind my Kansas

Only Time by Enya (reminds me of 9/11 everytime, they played it a lot then)

I love this song.

Christmas Shoes, it is so sad but it is such a good song.

Mad World is an amazing song. I like Gary Jules’ version the best, but Tears for Fears’ version is great too.

I was just gonna mention Mad World (Gary Jules’s version).

Other ones:
9 Crimes - Damien Rice (simply beautiful)
My Immortal - Evanescence
The Last Goodbye- Jeff Buckley (I can’t even get through the whole song w/o getting choked up)
