well i got the $10,000/year scholarship today + $3000 for honors college! Im really pumped. So the big question is:

Why Pace? I wanna do pre-med. Someone give me some up sides to pace for my situation...accepting Pace would mean turning down UMD and possibly Wake Forest, Vtech, Fordham, and maybe Bucknell.

So why Pace for premed?

Depends on how helpful the money is, if you ask me. If you're in a position that you don't "need" the money, do not go to Pace over any of those schools.

doogie what were ur stats?

Since you would like the positives, from what I have been told, Pace is tough to beat for internships and first jobs! You are right there to take advantage of the NYC jobs. They apparetly have a wonderfully strong alumni base. I do not know how positive this might be for someone interested in premed.

i had alot of community service (1700 hours) and alot of EC's that many considered to be ivy leage hooks. My GC even told me to apply to an ivy because of my ECs and courseload, she thinks id have a decent shot, i decided not to waste my money. But otherwise 1280 SAT, 3.9 GPA, and like 8 APs, overall one of the most competitive schedules at my school.

i had a pace alum give me an excellent rec and i have alot of family who went through pace.

Is that GPA weighted or unweighted?

idk, they dont tell me that
