Where does it say when the decision comes out?
Are they mailed? Can you check online?

Ok, 19 views, and no reply.
I know this is a stupid question, but I just can't find the answer on the website.

I was waiting for people to reply:
here's what i feel

when : perhaps April 1
The decisions will not be online (i.e on their website)
hopefully they will email the thing (postal notification is obvious)

Someone said last year they got theirs around March 15, I think.

THIS IS SO STUPID!
I just called the admissions office, and she says they'll be sent out on
April 1st, like I thought, BUT i'm an internatioal student so it'll take 2 weeks min. to arrive here, she says I get it by phone on the 3rd or 4th. Why should I wait for a few days? Why not the 1st like domestic students. It makes no sense really.

i won't mind the delay... if it has some good news to bring to me!

It's by mail by April 1st.

Usually you get it a week or so earlier than what they say. They want you to receive it by April 1. There is no email or online notification, but I do know people that got phone calls from students, congratuating them before they had even gotten their letter. If you don't hear by April 1, call the admissions office and they will most likely tell you.

Also, the acceptance letter comes in a SMALL (normal business size, 2 or 3 sheets of paper in it) envelope....so don't get discouraged there is no "big envelope" from Georgetown...

Ah! you should not have disclosed the envelope size... it would have been exciting to see a seemingly rejection letter turning out to be an acceptance letter
and since you have disclosed this, a seemingly acceptance letter might turn out to be a rejection.
:)

Yeah I got my acceptance letter around the 20th of March, and I definitely thought it was a rejection or waitlist letter before I opened it.

You will also get a larger envelope about GAAP weekends if you're accepted, generally a few days later, although people have been known to actually get it before the acceptance letter. And yes you could be called by the GAAP people if you get in before the letter arrives as well. Every accepted student is called eventually.

Are there any chances that International students are notified by email too?
