HI. Thanks for reading
I’m currently a high school student in Queens, NY (Sophomore) and my dream is to be accepted in Sophie Davis BS/MD program. I recently got my Regents scores and they are horrible. I plan on retaking them but I don’t know if my score will get better since I’m going to forget the information.
Algebra 1: 79
Bio: 86
Modern World: 85
Geometry: 75----Retaking
Chemistry: 68----Retaking
I don’t know what it is with standardized testing.
Anyway here is the rest
I have an average GPA of 92 exactly
I have over 200 hours of community service and 100 hours of volunteering at a hospital and 50 hours of shadowing a doctor. I have not yet taken the SATs but again standardized tests and I cannot coexist. I will try my best but it is so frustrating because I am not used to struggling on tests. Also, be honest please you won’t have to sugarcoat it. PLEASE HELP PLEASSSEEEE
@Notasmartone What really gives you a better chance is your SAT score. You have to put all your energy into that. Do not worry too much about regent scores. That SAT score will make or break you. Anything lower than a 1350 on your SAT will most likely get you rejected from Sophie Davis.
