Sophie Davis Pgm.

Dayum… I so bombed that interview… wow… Is it true all interviewees are considered solely based on interview?

I am am so depressed I bombed that triple threat… anyone else in the same boat?

It couldn’t have been THAT bad! What gave you the impression that you bombed it? Did you interview anywhere else?

I had my interview and my second faculty interviewer tried to make me stumble (at least i think so) but all in all I think I did good. btw when they asked you what other schools you applied to did you say big name schools that you applied to or did you just omit those?

@Insanemom, the alumni guy kept taking notes and asked questions that I hadn’t expected an alumni interviewer to ask. The second was a disaster. Supposedly I got the hardest dude on the committee, and I swear he showed genuine signs of boredom. Everyone I spoke to did excellent… so yea… there go my hopes and dreams… Anyway I just applied to a few upstate ones, both rejected, 1 with interview, not even called for the other… Sigh… hope they evaluate holistically after interview…

Anyone know when my rejection is coming?

JK… I did aight… but probably not enough to be the best in 1/4

S named all the schools, ivys, other ba/md programs. He also felt like one of the interviewers was trying to evaluate how he thinks so questions weren’t the norm, not the typical “why so u want to be a dr”.
Only time will tell… April 1st? When is notification day?

Ok alright…I think it is between March 28 and April 1st

April 1st is a Monday so do you think if we don’t hear by March 29th(fri) then we’ll have to wait over the weekend? Oh, torture!

They will make you wait most likely and you will get decisions first by email.

And I would name all the good programs you applied to, dont lie. Just say if Sophie is your top choice that Sophie Davis is my top choice, if I make it here, I would be go here. I remember I said Sophie Davis is one of my top choices along with Yale and to a lesser extent Cornell and Vassar.

Satrocks I felt the same, I had a hard 3rd interviewer and everyone said it went well, just dont loose hope and remember there are other ways into Medicine, if you have the will, you will find the way.

Just wondering about others who are still interviewing. The wait til April 1 is torturous, so keeping the dialogue going is helpful.

Well I have my interview at 3/19 and do you know what kind of attire I should where? Btw i sent in my SAT scores like yesterday and got the interview request today.

Go formal.
Everyone else with me at the interview went formal. Nice dress shirt, pants, and shoes. I don’t think it is a suit occasion so the aforementioned attire should be good.

Cuboundscholar and madbeast, where else did u apply? Any other BA/md programs?

No. I only applied to Sophie Davis. The rest are ivy leagues and safety schools. What about you?

I applied to Drexel’s 7yr and had an interview, got rejected from Boston U’s pgm, and a bunch of ivy’s as well.

Are Boston results out? How do u know that you got rejected?

The last round of interviews is this week, good luck to all with your acceptances and try to enjoy your spring break instead of worrying about college. If you come to Sophie, spring breaks are full of work to do/ catch up usually.

well boston u never gave me an interview so im guessing thats that

@Cuboundscholar, S applied to Sophie (interviewed), ivys, macaulay (accepted), some safeties (all accepted) Was rejected from Hifstras 4+4 program. Sophie’s decision comes out last. The wait is torturous! Sophie is his first choice!!
