Sophmore in HS, wondering where i stand?

I'm just wondering what type of colleges(assuming my information doesn't really change until senior year) I could get into. Clearly not Ivy League- lol, but do i have a chance with some of the top schools?

9th grade classes(my grades weren't very good freshman year. ended up with an unweighted gpa 3.65)
- Adv. Hon. English 9A
- Adv. Hon. Algebra 2/Geometry 2
- Adv. Hon. Biology
- Adv. Hon. World History/ US gov
- Adv. Hon. Spanish 2
- Freshman Foundations (art)
(no ap classes offered)

This year:
- Adv. Hon. English 10A
- Adv. Hon. Chem
- Adv. Hon. US History
- AP Statistics
- Photography 1
- Drawing & Painting 1
- Adv. Hon. Spanish 3
(stats was only offered sophmore ap class- we were offered ap chem, junior class but I didn't take it)

This doesn't really help without scores, but this year im taking chem sat subject test.

I do...
-key club(going for officer next year. very confident)
-interact club
-best buddies
-going for national art honors society. still waiting.
-ballet-been dancing all my life
-7th (nonconsecutive) year of piano
-youth group

thanks :-)

Colleges primarily look at junior year, so make sure you really focus then. You seem really motivated to go to a great college, and you’re definitely on your way!

thankyou  i read other “chance mes” and some people list off 20 EC’s and have a gpa 3.99 and then they get a “don’t even think about stanford”. lol, it always gets me worried

right now, you’re on the exact same boat as i am. im also a sophomore with weak freshman grades whos hoping for top univs…
honestly, just work on getting 4.0s to boost cumulative and do some sat prep

You’re a lot like me with the classes and extra curriculars. I have a 3.8 right now. I think if you just focus on getting 4.0s to boost cumulatively then you’ll be fine!
