I am a IB sophmore student and I am hoping to apply to McGill, NYU or Tufts in my senoir year. Last year first semester I mostly got 5's with one four in math and a couple 6s and about two or three 7s. Second semester I got about 8 fives, 2 sixes, one seven and one four in PE. I havent completed my first semester of 10th grade yet however I have done a lot of extracurriculars: I do the International Award Program, Guitar, Bollywood Dance and Modern Dance, I do a popular club in my school that is well recognized, I am the president of one club and the secretary of another and I have done community service in a public library. I am planning on doing more CS and EC however they are starting in 2012. This year I am hoping to get mostly sixes and a couple fives. Also do I have an advantage if I have legacy at Mcgill and am a canadian citizen and am an international student?

There are no legacy or any other hooks in McGill admission.

Extra-curr will also be irrelevant for McGill admissions. Your academic strength as demonstrated by your high school marks and SAT/ACT scores is all that matters.
